About Us

Torvan Makina was founded in 1998 in the Ankara Organized Industrial Zone by three engineers with a background in metal cutting. Our first product, a hybrid manual-CNC lathe, was sold in 1999. Today, in 38,000 m² of covered space and with 210 employees, we build around 380 CNC machines a year and export to 14 countries across the Balkans, Central Asia and North Africa.

What we build

We have four product families: CNC lathes (flat-bed, slant-bed and Y-axis), vertical machining centers (3- and 5-axis), fiber laser cutting machines (sheet and tube) and CNC press brakes (40 – 320 tons). We machine and assemble the cast beds, linear guideways and spindle groups of all models in our own plant.

Our manufacturing approach

• Every machine is measured with a laser interferometer and ball-bar before shipment, and the report is handed to the customer.
• A factory acceptance test (FAT) with customer participation is available for all 380 machines built each year.
• Siemens Sinumerik and Fanuc control options are offered; software and post-processor support is provided in Turkish.

Service and training

With regional offices in Ankara, Istanbul, Bursa, Izmir, Konya, Kayseri, Gaziantep, Adana, Samsun and Eskisehir, we aim to respond within 24 hours in all 81 provinces. 92% of spare parts ship from our Ankara warehouse within 48 hours. We provide operator and programmer training at purchase, followed by annual preventive-maintenance packages.
